In recent years, it has been becoming more and more desirable to communicate with German clients and business partners in their own language. To meet this need we have developed a version of our intensive courses especially for professional and business people.

On the following pages we would like to give you a brief introduction to these courses and our language institute.

TREFF PUNKT is an international German language school for adults situated in Bamberg, Bavaria.

We are a relatively new institute, founded in 1995 by our principal and owner Alexandra von Rohr. Here are the three competitive factors our school offers for people who want to learn German in Germany:

  • Our location:
    Bamberg is one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. With its well-preserved old town-centre, it offers a cosy and safe ambience to study, a lively cultural society and good infrastructure: The centre is within easy walking distance of the school. Bamberg's unspoilt environment has been recognized by the UNESCO as a world-heritage monument.

  • Our teachers:
    All our qualified teachers are personally chosen to ensure that your lessons are both productive and enjoyable. Bamberg's University is one of the few to offer a special course in "German as a foreign language", providing TREFF PUNKTwith a ready supply of professionally trained and motivated staff.

  • Our specialization:
    TREFF PUNKT specializes in teaching German as a foreign language to adults. When you come to TREFF PUNKT, you will meet people from all over the world. Yet the school remains small and friendly with a policy of having between 25 and no more than 60 students in the school at a time.
